«Mr. Taxi» es la primera canción japonesa original del grupo de chicas de Corea del Sur «SNSD Girls’ Generation 소녀시대».

Lanzado como un doble lado A individual con una versión japonesa de «Run Devil Run» el 27 de abril de 2011, que sirve como el tercer single del álbum debut japonés del grupo, «SNSD Girls’ Generation 소녀시대» (2011).

Se convirtió en su primer single japonés en vender 100.000 unidades en su primera semana de lanzamiento.

El single también alcanzó su punto máximo en el número uno en la lista Billboard HOT 100 de Japón durante dos semanas consecutivas.

Una versión coreana de la canción fue lanzada más adelante como el primer sencillo de la reedición del tercer álbum de estudio de Corea del grupo, el MR.TAXI (2011).

MR.TAXI 은 대한민국의 음악 그룹 소녀시대의 세 번째 일본 싱글이다.
이 싱글은 소녀시대 첫 더블 A-사이드 싱글이기도하다.
2011년 4월 13일 일본에서 발매 예정이였으나, 일본의 지진 때문에 4월 27일 처음 선보였다.
이번 싱글의 수익금 중 일부는 동일본 대지진 복구성금에 기부되었다.

Released as a double A-side single with a Japanese version of «Run Devil Run» on April 27, 2011, it serves as the third single from the group’s debut Japanese album, Girls’ Generation (2011).
It became their first Japanese single to sell 100,000 units in its first week of release.
The single also peaked at the number one spot on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart for two consecutive weeks.
A Korean version of the song was later released as the lead single from the reissue of the group’s third Korean studio album, Mr. Taxi (2011).
